Feel Good Friday: January 29
January 29, 2021
Last Wednesday, January 20, employees at Notchtop Bakery & Café in Estes Park, Colorado, were struck by surprise. A pleased customer, known on the restaurant’s Facebook page as the “Covid Bandit,” decided to give back to his community. After asking the bakery’s owner, Nailya Khametvalieva, the number of people she had working with her that day, he left an incredibly generous tip for them to find. On the receipt, he added a handwritten message that reads, “COVID Sucks! $200.00 for each employee today!”
Going about your day today, remember to thank those around you for the things that they do. The coronavirus pandemic has impacted us all in so many ways; the least we can do is give back with a smile and a thank you.
