Super Bowl A Big Let Down For The Chiefs Fans

The Chief’s offensive line struggled against the stout defense of Tampa Bay. KC quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, was pressured 29 times on 49 dropbacks. Mahomes ran an insane total of 497 yards in the backfield while he was pressured. The Kansas City wide receivers also didn’t give Mahomes any help as they dropped three potential touchdowns. Patrick completed 26 passes on 49 attempts for 0 touchdowns and two interceptions. Tampa QB Tom Brady was very accurate on the other spectrum, only missing eight passes, 21 for 29. He threw for 201 yards, 3 TD’s, and 0 INT. Buccaneer’s ground attack was lead by former Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette. Fournette pounded the rock for 89 yards on 16 rushes, reaching paydirt once. In the end, the Bucs were victorious, beating the Chiefs and giving Brady his 7th ring, and Tampa their 2nd by a score of 31-9.
