JV Golfers Making Their Way

Layne Johnson

This Monday, the Cimarron JV golf team traveled to Ulysses for 18 holes. It was cold and wet at the tournament. Not the best weather for golf. The bluejays had a rough day of golf, but they did pretty well under the terrible playing conditions. Cimarron brought six players to tournaments, and those players were Conner Benton, Layne Johnson, Ryan Burman, Alec Whittman, Nathan Peters, and Austin Temaat. Layne placed 3rd with a score of 97. Austin Temaat placed 11th with a score of 109. Ryan Burman placed 12th with a score of 110, and Alex Whittman placed 13th with a score of 110. Conner and Nathan did not place, but Conner Benton shot a 115, and Nathan Peters shot a 141. The Bluejay’s next tournaments will be @ Hugoton this Thursday. Good job, and good luck to the Bluejays.
